O’Hanlon (Portaferry) Died 18th April 2022. Peacefully at his home, 10 Ashmount Drive, Portaferry. James (Jimmy) dearly loved husband of Sarah Ann (Ann), loving and devoted father of Christopher, Norah, Seamus, Julie, Michael, Patricia, Brendan and Michelle, dear father-in-law of Mary, Gerard, Héléne, Karen, Norman, Angela and Christopher, a much loved granda and great granda, devoted son of the late Mary (Maisie) and James and dear brother of Kathleen, Martin and the late Sean, May, Eamon, Brendan and Patricia. His remains will leave his residence on Friday at 10.30am to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11am. which can be viewed live on Ballyphilip Parish webcam. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Chest, Heart & Stroke Assoc. and MacMillan Cancer c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street, Portaferry BT22 1QU. Denis, dearly loved son of the late Hugh and Elizabeth Andrews, loving brother of Patsy, Margaret, Kathleen and the late James, Mary and Harry, dear brother-in-law of Carol, Marie, Drew, Elizabeth and the late Bernard and a much loved uncle. His remains will leave his home on Thursday at 10.30am to St Patrick’s Ch. Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11am. which can be viewed live on the Ballyphilip Parish webcam. Sean’s remains will repose in his home from 5pm Monday 11th April (private to family, close friends and neighbours), until his removal on Wednesday 13th April at 10.30am to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycran for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard. Murray, Mae (nee Gilmore) (Portaferry) died 6 April 2022 peacefully in hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Harry, loving mother of Ann, John, Peter, Declan and the late baby John. Much loved by spouses and partners, Michael, Margaret, Jackie and Charleen. Cherished Granny to John Henry, Margaret, Hugh, Mary Bridget, Shannon, Daniel, Erin, Niall and dear great granny to Benjamin and Murray.

Family house strictly private. Mae’s remains will repose in John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry on Friday 8 April from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm and Saturday 9 April from 12 noon – 3.00pm.

The cortege will leave the funeral home on Sunday 10 April 2022 at 10.30am via Marian Way and Ballyphilip Road for Requiem Mass at 11.00am in St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip, followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.
