English (Kircubbin) Died 28th March 2022, peacefully at hospital. Thomas William (Tony) dearly beloved son of the late Thomas and Jean.
The funeral will proceed down Boyd Avenue and Church Avenue, Kircubbin, past his late residence, at approximately 10.45am on Friday 1st April to Kircubbin Presbyterian Cemetery for a Service of committal at 11am.
Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by the extended family circle. “At Rest.”

Hugh James, dearly loved husband of Anna, loving and devoted father of Pauline, Hugh and Kieran, dear father-in-law of June, Pauline and Danny, much loved granda of Ronan, Niall, Kevin, Christine, Laura, Sean, Brendan and Daniel and great granda of Eve, Dylan and Maddie. In line with covid 19 guidelines the Home will be private, for family and close friends. Hugh’s remains will leave his home, 32 Mill Lane, Cloughey on Sunday at 11am to St Patrick’s Church, Ballygalget for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard. For anyone unable to attend, the service can be viewed live on the Ballygalget Parish webcam. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Lovingly remembered by all his family and extended family circle.

GIBSON, Lydia. Died 21st March 2022 peacefully at her home. Beloved wife of the late William James (Billy) and devoted Mother of Robert and Victoria, Mother In-Law of Jonty, Grandmother of Becky, Steffie, Gemma, Jorja, Joel and Jessi and a loving great-grand mother.

A private family service will be held at her daughters home 1 Adela Gardens, Ballystockart, Comber on Wednesday 23rd March followed by interment in Kirkistown Cemetery, Cloughey at 2pm.

Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by all her family and extended family circle.

Carmel, beloved wife of the late Tony, loving mother of Carla, Eoin and Desmond, dear mother-in-law of David and Pauline and a much loved grandmother of Natasha, David, Stuart, Nichola, Ciara, Laura, Manus, Aoife, Tomás and Dearbhla and dearly loved great-grandmother of Conor, Cormac and Cillian, Amirah and Keilidh. Carmel’s remains will leave her son Desmond’s home, 18d Manse Road, Kircubbin at 10.30am on Friday 18th March to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment in adjoining graveyard.

David (Davy), dearly loved husband of the late Rose, loving and devoted father of Anne Marie, Agnes, Bernadette, Michael and Leonard, dear father-in-law of Marianne and Gavin and much loved granda of Ruairi, Roisin, Sean and Claire. His remains will repose in John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry from Monday (28th) at 12noon until 5pm by appointment (phone 02842728379). Funeral on Tuesday at 10.30am to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Emerson (Portaferry) Died 24th February 2022, peacefully at hospital. Henry, beloved husband of the late Maureen, loving father of Aidan, Barry and Tracey, much loved grandfather of Charlotte, Joshua, Louis, Ella, Holly, Chloe and Natasha, great grandfather of Kelli-Anne, dear father-in-law of Mary and Paul and dear brother of Anne.

The funeral cortege will leave his home 13 Laurelbank Park, Portaferry on Sunday 27th Feb. at 12.30pm to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 1pm which can be viewed live via the parish webcam.
