Nixon, John (Ballyhalbert) Died peacefully at his home, Victoria Gardens, Ballyhalbert on 19th September 2020. Beloved husband of the late Joan, dearly loved father of John, Karen, Colin, Kimberley and dear mother in law of Elizabeth, David and Pamela. In line with the current guidance the family home will be private. Service at his home on Wednesday (23rd) at 2pm, those wishing to pay their respects may do so outside the home, while observing social distancing.  Burial afterwards in Glastry Presbyterian Churchyard. Will be sadly missed by his sons, daughters, grandchildren and their partners and great grandchildren.

Smyth (Portaferry) Died 16th September 2020, peacefully at his home, 7 Parkhead, Portaferry R.I.P. Paddy, dearly loved husband of Pamela, loving and devoted father of Patrick, William, Gregory, Gary, Barry, Sean Paul, Colin and the late Charleen, Hugh John and Mary-Jo, dear father-in-law of Kyla, Debbie and Orla, much loved granda of Curtis, Ryan, Jessica, Caolan, Shay, Eabha-Grace, Joseph and Ciaran and dear brother of Harry, Jeanette, Mary, Josephine and the late John, Kathleen and Peter.

In line with current guidelines the house and funeral will be private.

The funeral cortege will leave his home on Thursday 17th September at 5.30pm. to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip. Requiem Mass on Friday at 10am can be viewed live on the parish webcab https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-ballyphilip. Burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard.

Michael (Micky the Bricky), loving father of Gerard, Michelle, Maíread, Patricia, Declan, Sinead and Paul, dear father-in-law of Kerry, Cahal, Peter, Les, Kim and Rachel, much loved granda of Paul, Keavy, Declan, Sarah, Rachel, Jessica, Amy, Katie, Ben, Caitlin, Connor and Cody.
In line with current guidance the family home and Requiem Mass are strictly private. Michael’s cortege will leave his home 95 Parsonage Road at 2pm on Friday 11th Sept. via Main Street and Cooks Brae to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycran for a private Requiem Mass.
For those wishing to pay their respects the funeral will arrive at St. Patrick’s Graveyard, Ballygalget for interment at approx.. 3.30pm.

James (Seamus) dearly loved husband of Marigold, loving and devoted father of Pauline, Lorrell and Jennifer, dear father-in-law of Joseph, Hugh and Paul, much loved granda of Sarah, Conor, Aine, Lorenzo, Eunan, Shay and the late Hugh and dear great-granda of Cillian, Clara, Cliodhna, Teagen, Oisin and Logan. The funeral cortege will leave his home on Tuesday 8th September at 6pm. to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip via Windmill Hill, Steele Dickson Avenue, Shore Road and Cook Street. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by interment in adjoining graveyard. In line with current guidelines the house will be strictly private and numbers attending the Church will be limited.
