William Hans James (Billy) dearly loved husband of Debbie, loving and devoted father of Janine and her partner Rodney, Stuart and his wife Samantha, much loved papa of Kayla, Kieva and Jayden, loving brother of Anne and Jeanette, dear brother-in-law to David, Harold, Jimmy and Gary and a dear uncle.

Funeral Service on Friday 30th August at 11.30am in Portavogie Presbyterian Church followed by burial in Kirkistown Cemetery at 1pm.

Cunningham (Kircubbin) Died 19th August 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Ruth, beloved wife of the late Philip, loving and devoted mother of Jim, Sheena and Tara, dear mother-in-law of Pamela, Sandy and Neil, cherished granny of Tamara, Scott, Jessica, Sarah, Abbie and Kailey, much loved great-granny to Logan and dear sister of the late Jean.

Ruth’s remains will be reposing in John Smiths Funeral home on Tuesday 20th from 10am-12noon, 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm and Wednesday 21st from 10am-12noon and 2pm-4pm.

Funeral service on Thursday 22nd August at 1pm in Holy Trinity Church, Kircubbin followed by a service of committal in Roselawn Crematorium at 3.20pm.

Teresa, devoted wife of Willie, dearly loved mother of Jacqueline, Therese, Colin, Debbie and the late Baby Agnes, dear mother-in-law of Andrew, John, David and the late Peter, cherished granny of Marie-Therese, Nichola, Jamie, Niamh, Lachlan and the late Ryan, great-granny of Pauraig and Cobhlaith and a dear sister and aunt.

Teresa’s remains will be reposing at her home, 52 Deerpark Road, Ardkeen from 8pm tonight (Tuesday).
Funeral will leave her home on Friday 9th August at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballygalget for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Atherton, Peter. (Portaferry) Passed away peacefully on 11th July 2024. Dearly missed by his wife Jean, his daughter Zoe, sons Michael, Martin, Gordon, David, and the late Gareth, and also his son in law Mick and daughter in law Lisa. Loving grandfather and great-grandfather, and only brother of Arthur. Also missed by his close friends Clare, Tracey, Jim, and Harry, and by all those who had he pleasure of knowing him.

Sincere thanks to all the district nurses and those who cared for Peter in Penninsula Care and lately in Ard Cuan Residential Home.

A Service of Celebration for the life of Peter will be held on Tuesday 13th August at 12noon in John Smith Funeral Home followed by a service of committal in Roselawn Crematorium. Peter’s ashes will then go with his family to Wigan.

A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Paul will be celebrated on Monday 15th July at 3pm in La Mon House Hotel, Gransha Road, Comber.
