Byers. (Portaferry). Died 27th December 2020, suddenly at his home.  George (Junior) dearly loved husband of Jean, loving and devoted father of Anita, Stephen and Susan, dear father-in-law of John, Linda and Hugh Pat, much loved granda of Emmett, Brendan, Emma Jane, Aislinn, Niamh, Niall, Orna and Cliodhna and devoted brother of Mary, Kathleen, Bessie and the late Willie R.I.P.  In line with current guidelines the family home, funeral service and committal will be private. For those wishing to pay their respects, the cortege will leave George’s home, The Square, Portaferry on Tuesday evening (29th Dec.) at 6pm to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip via Ferry Street, Shore Road and Cook Street.  Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am that can be view via the parish webcam by the following link  https://portaferryparish.com/webcam/2-uncategorised/29-st-patrick-s-ballyphilip-webcam .   St Martha and St Anthony pray for him.  Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by his loving family and extended family circle.
