Funeral service will be held in John Smith Funeral Home, 89a High Street, Portaferry on Monday 29th January 2024 at 11.45am followed by burial in Kirkistown Cemetery at 1pm.

Caldwell (Kircubbin) Died 17th January, peacefully at his home. John, beloved husband of Eithne, dearly loved father of Conal, Niall and Coleen, dear father-in-law of Jill, Lucy and Dwayne, much loved Koro of Jay, Dan, Jacob, Ruby, Rehua and Kahu and dear brother of Maeve and Moira.

John’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Friday 19th January from 2pm-4pm (no family in attendance) and 6pm-8pm (family in attendance). Funeral Service in John Smith Funeral Home, 89a High Street, Portaferry on Saturday 20th January at 2pm. A service of committal will take place in Roselawn Crematorium for immediate family only.

Magennis (Kircubbin). Died 18th January 2023, peacefully at his home, Shore Road, Kircubbin. John, beloved husband of the late Vera, loving and devoted father of Kevin, Eamonn, Geraldine and Brian, dear father-in-law of Paul and Deborah and much loved granda of Callum, Ross, Christopher, Paul and Connor.

John’s remains will leave his home on Saturday 20th January at 9.30am to St. Josephs Church Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

McGrattan (Portaferry) Died 13th January 2024, peacefully at hospital. Bernard Patrick, devoted husband of Catherine (Kitty) loving father of Anne, Aidan, Brian, Peter, Gerald, Mary Katrina and Dominic and a much loved grandfather and great-grandfather. RIP.

Bernard’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Monday 15th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm and on Tuesday 16th from 10am-12noon and 2pm-4pm. Funeral will leave the funeral home on Tuesday 16th at 6pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 17th at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.
