Toner (Kircubbin) Died 30th December 2023 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Celine, beloved wife of the late Joe, loving and devoted mother of Deirdre, Eamon, Brian, Kevin, Helen and Michelle, dear mother-in-law of Richard and Raquel, cherished nanny to Niall, Sarah, Ciara, Hannah, Sean, Matt, Rosie, Aimee and Mila and great-nanny to Leo and Maya.

Celine will repose in her home, 11 Quarter Road, Kircubbin on Tuesday 2nd January from 1pm until 10pm and on Wednesday 3rd January from 10am until 10pm. Funeral from her home on Thursday at 10.30am to St Joseph’s Church, Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Beattie (Dooey, Cloughey) Died 27th December 2023, peacefully at hospital. Reubina Mayre, beloved wife of the late William (Billy) Beattie, loving and devoted mother of Harold and David, much loved nanny of Jonathan and Christopher and nana of Georgia, Ollie, Rhys and Mila.

Mayre will be reposing at John Smiths’ Funeral Home, 89a High Street, Portaferry on Tuesday 2nd January and Wednesday 3rd January from 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 4pm each day.

Funeral Service on Friday 5th January at 11am in Ardquin Parish Church, Abbacy, Portaferry, followed by a Service of Committal at 1.20pm in Roselawn Crematorium.

Hugh, dearly loved and devoted husband of the late Pauline , loving father of Fionnbarr, Conor, Orla, Declan, Emmett and Garrett, dear brother of Frank and the late Johnny, Mary, Theresa, Liam, James and Sarah, much loved grandfather to Caolán, Tiarna, Oisín, Ruirai, Saoirse, Hugh, Niamh, Bronagh, Oran, Kiera, Aileen, Michael, Eoin, Caoimhe, Cliodhna, Aaron, Darragh, Ita, Moya and Laoise. Father-in-law to Rebecca, Sheila, Noreen, Karen and Sara.

Hugh’s cortege will leave his home 44 Tullymally Road, Portaferry on Thursday 21 December at 10.30am to St Patrick’s Church, Ballgalget for Requiem Mass at 11am which can be viewed live on the parish webcam St Patrick’s Church Ballygalget Webcam (portaferryparish.com) Burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard.
