Emma, beloved daughter of the late Brigid, dearly loved Mum of Ciaran, Daire, Jack and Francis, much loved granny of Kenzi, dear sister of Stephen and wife Rachel, Leanne and partner Teenie and Darran and aunt of Ezara, Farrah-May, Saoirse and Lacey.

Husband of Kathleen, dearly loved father of Robert, Gary, Julie and Emma, dear father-in-law of Leigh, Mark, Alan and Ashleigh and much loved grandfather of Rachael, Brooke, Eva, Bailie, Essie, Myla and Jake, and a dear brother and uncle.

Winty’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home, 89a High Street, Portaferry on Tuesday 3rd October from 10am -12noon, 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday 4th October at 11am in Trinity Presbyterian Church, Cloughey followed by committal in Kirkistown Cemetery at 12 noon.

McVeigh, (Kircubbin) Died 27th September 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Geraldine, devoted wife of Gerard, dearly loved mother of Kelly-Anne, cherished granny of Clodagh, a dear sister of Paul, Brian, Brenda, Laura, Paddy, Kieran, Margaret, Maura and Colm and a dear sister-in-law and aunt.

Geraldine’s remains will be reposing in her home 43b Rubane Road, Kircubbin from 2pm today (Wednesday). Funeral will leave her home at 11.15am on Saturday 30th September to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 12noon followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Norman’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home, 89a High Street, Portaferry on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am -12noon and 2pm-4pm.   Funeral Service on Friday 29th September at 12 noon in the Funeral Home followed by committal in Kirkistown Cemetery at 1pm.

Agnes (Nana), beloved wife of the late Hugh Robert, devoted mother of John and James, dear mother-in-law of Fustina and Joan, much loved grandmother of Emma, Erin, Adam and Andrew and dear sister of Jackie, Isobel and Wilma.


Nana’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home, 89a High Street, Portaferry on Thursday 7th September from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Funeral Service on Friday 8th September at 12.30pm in Ebernezer Gospel Hall, Portavogie followed by interment in Glastry Presbyterian Churchyard.
