Breen (Portaferry) Died 21st June 2023, peacefully at her home. Patricia, beloved wife of the late Seamus (Shim), devoted mother of John, Mary, Seamus, Eilish, Dessie, Dermot, Jean, Isobel, Carmel and the late William, dear mother-in-law of Anne, Mary, Lynn, Howard, Mary, Mavis, Brendan, Colm and Jimmy and cherished grandmother of her 31 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandson. 

Patricia’s remains will be reposing in her home 24 Barrhall Road, Portaferry. Funeral will leave the home on Friday 23rd June at 11.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Damien McCullough (Kircubbin)

McCullough (Kircubbin). Died 15th June 2023, suddenly at his home 34 Boyd Avenue.  Damien (Curley), beloved son of the late Marguerite and Joseph, dear brother of Eamon and the late Christopher and Paul.

Damien’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street on Sunday 18th June from 10am-2pm. 

Funeral will leave the funeral home on Monday 19th June at 10.30am to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 11am  followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Catherine McCullough nee Walsh (Portaferry)

McCullough, Nee Walsh (Portaferry) Died 15th June 2023, at hospital. Catherine dearly loved wife of Seamus, devoted daughter of Hilda and the late Billy and loving sister of Marian.

Catherine’s remains will be reposing in her sister Marian’s home 66 Church Street, Portaferry from 2pm today (Friday).

Funeral will leave the home on Monday 19th June at 1.30pm for Requiem Mass at 2pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.


Loving Remembered and will be sadly missed by her family and family circle in England.

Greta, beloved wife of the late Stanley, devoted mother of John, Stephanie, Brenda, Julieanne, Stanley and the late Donna, a dear mother-in-law, cherished Nanny and great-nanny and dear sister of Iris and the late Ena, Marie, Nan, Norma, Ivor and William. 

Greta’s remains will be reposing in her son Stanley’s home 6a Dunevly Road, Portaferry, BT22 1NB.

Funeral will leave the home on Saturday at 10am to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycranbeg for Service at 10.30am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.
