Jean, dearly loved wife of the late George (Junior), loving and devoted mother of Anita, Stephen and Susan, dear mother-in-law of John, Linda and Hugh Pat and much loved granny of Emmett, Brendan, Emma Jane, Aislinn, Niamh, Niall, Orna and Cliodhna. Funeral will leave her home 35 The Square, Portaferry on Saturday at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip, via Shore Road, for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard. St Martha and St Anthony pray for her. Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by her loving family and extended family circle

McGrattan (Portaferry) Died 3rd February 2023, peacefully at hospital. Bill, dear father of Bernadette, Maureen, William and Michael Joseph, beloved brother of Isobel, George and the late Margaret, Kathleen and Tom and a dear grandfather and uncle. R.I.P. Bill’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday (4th and 5th February) from 2pm – 5pm also on Monday (6th) 10am – 12.30pm. followed by the funeral from the Funeral home to St. Patrick’s Church Ballyphilip, via Shore Road, for Requiem Mass at 1pm and burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Watson, James (Portaferry) Died 29th January 2023. Peacefully at hospital. His passing will be deeply regretted by his wife Patricia, daughters Sally, Cathy and Paula and grandchildren Adam, Catherine, Aaron, Garry, Lewis, Conor and Amber. Jimmy will be reposing in John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry on Wednesday (1st Feb.) from 2pm – 4pm. His remains will leave the funeral home on Thursday at 10.30am via High Street, The Square and Church Street to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, for Funeral Service at 2pm. At rest.

Campbell, Frank. (Portavogie) Died 27th January 2023, late of Westlea Drive, Portavogie. Loving and devoted husband of the late Margaret, a dear brother and a much loved uncle. 

Funeral service on Tuesday 31st Jan. at 11am in John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry followed by committal in Kirkistown Cemetery, Cloughey at 12noon.

Dorrian. Died 25th January 2023, peacefully at hospital. James, beloved son of the late James Henry and Mary Theresa Dorrian, Loving brother of Hugh, Liam, Frank and the late Mary, Sarah, Theresa and Johnny and a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Rest in peace.
James’ remains will be reposing in his home 4 Tullymally Road from 4pm today (Thursday). Funeral will leave his home on Saturday 28th Jan. at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballygalget for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.
