McMahon (Portaferry) Died 7th July 2022, peacefully at hospital. John devoted son of the late Elizabeth McMahon. His remains will repose in John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry on Friday (8th) viewing from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm. Funeral on Saturday at 10.30am to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip via High Street, Steel Dickson Avenue and Shore Road, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard. On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy. Will be sadly missed by his friends and neighbours.

Morgan, (Kircubbin). Died 6th July 2022, suddenly. Brigid, beloved partner of the late Ronnie, dearly loved mother of Stephen, Emma and Leanne, dear mother-in-law of Rachel and Teenie, much loved granny of Ciaran, Daire, Jack, Francis, Lacey, Ezara, Farrah-May and Saoirse, great granny of Kenzie and a dear sister and aunt. Funeral will leave her home, 31 Shore Road, Kircubbin, on Friday 8th July at 10:30am to St Mary Star of the Sea Church, Nunsquarter for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Kircubbin Cemetery, Parsonage Road. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her sorrowing family and extended family circle.

Ennis (Greyabbey) Died 24th June 2022, peacefully at his home, 8 North Street, Greyabbey. Patrick, dearly loved husband of Jennifer, devoted dad of Roisin and Nigel, much loved granda of Scott and Ryan, dear brother of Brendan, Gerard and the late Noel, cherished uncle of Dolores, and a dear uncle and cousin. Patrick’s remains will repose in John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry BT22 1QU on Monday (27th) and Tuesday (28th) with viewing times 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Service of Celebration for Patrick’s Life will take place on Thursday (30th) at 2.45pm in Smith’s followed by funeral, passing through Greyabbey at 3.30pm approx., to Roselawn Crematorium for Service of Committal at 4.40pm. House private, no flowers please, donations if desired to Assisi Animal Sanctuary and Guide Dogs for the Blind N.I. c/o funeral directors. Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by all his family and extended family circle.

Robert, dearly beloved son of the late Peggy and Geordie Bailey, devoted brother of George, Joan, Anne, Mabel, Duncan, Linda, John, Tommy, Jim and the late David, a dear brother-in-law and a much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Robert’s funeral will leave John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry on Monday (20th June) at 10.20am to pass his late residence, 6 Bog Road, Portavogie on its way to Kirkistown Cemetery for burial at 11am. Forever in our hearts. Lovingly remembered and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Barcatelli (Portaferry) died 11th June 2022, peacefully at his home, in his 100th year, John, devoted husband of Bridget, loving father of Geraldine and Martine, dear-father-in-law of Martin and Alan and much loved granda of Claire and her husband Peter, Finbar, Robert and Adam.

John’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Monday (13th) from 2.30pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm and on Tuesday (14th) from 10am-12 noon, 2pm-4pm and 6pm – 8pm.

The cortege will leave the funeral home on Wednesday (15th) at 10am via Church Street to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.
