Drysdale (Portavogie). Died 21st June 2021, peacefully at hospital. Samuel James (Stanley) dearly beloved husband of the late Nan, loving father of David, Hugh and Stanley, dear father-in-law of Barbara, Mandy and Shirley, much loved granda of Nicky and partner Gareth, Ashleigh, Luke, Hollie and Martyn and great granda of Lola, Zain and Alvey. In accordance with Covid restrictions the family home will be private. Funeral service on Thursday at 11am in Ebernezer Gospel Hall, Portavogie, restricted to a small number of family and friends followed by burial in Kirkistown Cemetery arriving at 11.45 approx. For those wishing to pay their respects, the cortege will leave his home at Lawson Gardens at 10.30am via Springfield Road, Harbour Road, New Harbour Road and Main Road. Family flowers only, donations if desired made payable to The Fishermen’s Mission c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street, Portaferry. Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by all the family.

Yeomans (Portaferry) Died 12th June 2021, peacefully at his home. Michael Reginald (Mike), dear husband of the late Maggie, devoted father of Helen and Sara and a much loved grandfather. Mike’s funeral will take place on Wednesday (16th June) and in line with the current Covid-19 guidelines the home will be strictly private and the funeral service restricted to a small family gathering. Kelly (Portaferry) Died 11th June 2021, peacefully at his home. Bernard (Barney) devoted husband of Ann, loving father of Paul, Joanne, Kathy, Peter and Jennifer, dear father-in-law of Cathy, Aidan, Terry and Kevin, much loved granda of Emmet, Lee, Keava, Daragh, Mollie-Ann and Noah, son of the late James and Kathleen and brother of the late Brendan.

In line with current guidance the family home will be private. Barney’s remains will leave his home, 9 Elmgrove Crescent, Portaferry on Sunday (13th) at 1.30pm to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 2pm which can be viewed live on the parish webcam. Interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Current Covid-19 guidelines must be adhered to and social distancing observed.

McClements , Marie died 3rd June 2021 peacefully at her home.  Much loved wife of the late Robert and loving sister, aunt and nana. Owing to Covid restrictions the family home will be strictly private.  Funeral service on Saturday at 11am in New Road Gospel Hall, restricted to a small number of family and friends.  For those wishing to pay respect, the cortege will pass Marie’s home at approximately 11.50am on the way to the family burial ground. McCormick (Portavogie) Died 31st May 2021, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary, dearly beloved wife of the late William, loving mother of Ann, Bobbie, Helen, Thomas, David and the late Flo, dear mother-in-law of Billy, Eddie and Joy,  much loved granny, great granny and great great granny and a dear sister and aunt. Mary’s funeral cortege will leave her home, 13 Brandon Park, Portavogie on Thursday (3rd June) at 10.30am to St Andrew’s Church, Ballyeasborough for Service at 11am which will be restricted to family and friends.  Burial afterwards in adjoining churchyard.  Current Covid-19 guidelines should be adhered to at all times and social distancing observed.  No flowers please, donations if desired made payable to The Fishermen’s Mission and R.N.L.I. c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street, Portaferry. Thomas Patrick (Tommy) dearly beloved husband of Monica, loving father of Daniel, Marie-Clare, Frances, Hugh and Owen, dear father-in-law of Pauline, Roger, Glen, Andrea and Bethan, much loved granda of Caolan, Darragh, Mimi, Rowan, Eve, Joey, Rhianna and James and devoted brother of Dette, Deirdre and the late Peggy, Sarah, Lil, Agnes, Josie and Danny. Tommy’s remains will leave his home, 22a Lisbane Road, Kircubbin on Wednesday (2nd June) at 11.30am to St Joseph’s Church Ballycran for Requiem Mass at 12 noon which will be restricted to family and friends with the full service being relayed to the carpark area. Current Covid-19 guidelines must be adhered to and social distancing observed.   Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters and family circle.
