Caldwell (Kircubbin). Died on 1st August 2021, peacefully at his home 1 Parsonage Close, Kircubbin. Francis (Frankie), dearly loved husband of the late Maeve, devoted father of Geraldine, Linda, Francis and the late Martin, much loved granda of Maxine, Kasha, Dawn, Martin, Connor, Francis and Jonjo, great granda of Corran, Maddie, Seth and Rhea and dear father-in-law of Sarah and Ciaran  R.I.P.  In line with Covid-19 guidelines the house will be private. His remains will leave his home on Wednesday (4th August) at 11.30a.m. to Mt. St Joseph’s Church, Ballycran for Requiem Mass at 12noon restricted to Family members with the service relayed to the carpark area.  Burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard.  Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his loving family and family circle.

Tom Quinn (Barrhall, Portaferry)

Quinn. (Portaferry) Died 25th July 2021, peacefully at Hospital. Tom beloved husband of Margaret, loving brother of the late Denise, Madeline, Peggy, Ellen, Mary, Dick and Noel and a dear uncle.  Tom’s remains will depart from his home, 19 Bar Hall Road, Portaferry at 10.15am on Wednesday 28th July to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, which will be streamed live on the parish webcam. Burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Current Covid-19 guidelines must be adhered to and social distancing observed.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cancer Research c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91A High Street, Portaferry. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving wife and extended family circle.

Lila’s remains will leave John Smith Funeral Home at 11am on Friday 30th July to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, which will be streamed live on the parish webcam. Peacefully at Residential Home.  Mary, beloved wife of the late Patrick Watson R.I.P.  dearly devoted sister of Patricia and the late Patrick, John, Michael, Thomas, Edmund, Kathleen and Ellen and a dear sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt. Mary’s remains will leave John Smith’s Funeral Home on Thursday (29th July) at 12.45pm to St Joseph’s Church Ballycranbeg via Cloughey, Quarter Road and Blackstaff Road for Requiem Mass at 1.30pm which will be restricted to close family. The Mass will be relayed to the carpark area. Following the Mass the funeral will proceed to Roselawn for a private committal. On her soul sweet Jesus have mercy. Will be sadly missed by the Watson and Leahy family circle and her friends and staff at Green Isle Residential Home.

Margaret Mary (Peggy) Woods (Ballywalter)

Margaret Mary (Peggy), beloved wife of the late James, dearly loved and devoted mother of Ellen Mary and a dear Aunt.  Peggy’s remains will leave her home, 20 Killyvolgan Road, Ballywalter on Sunday (18th July) at 11.30am to St Joseph’s Church Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 12 noon which will be restricted to close family. The Mass will be relayed to the carpark area. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving daughter and extended family circle.

McMaster (Ardkeen, Newtownards) Died 11th July 2021, peacefully at Nursing Home. Annie Elizabeth, dearly beloved wife of the late Hugh, loving and devoted mother of John, James, David, Olive and Alan, dear mother-in-law of  Lynn, Anne, Raymond, Martine and the late Elizabeth, much loved granny of Jonathan, Gavin, Heather, Lisa, Debbie, Sara, Caley, Philip, Rosemary, Adam and Robert and a dear great granny and great great granny, late of Tullycross Road, Ardkeen.  In line with current Covid-19 guidelines, a private funeral service, restricted to family only, will be held on Wednesday 14th July at 2pm in John Smiths’ Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry followed by the funeral cortege leaving at 2.45pm via High Street, The Square, Church Street and Coach Road arriving at Ballymanish Cemetery at approximately 3pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Alzheimers Society c/o John Smith Funeral Directors. Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by the McMaster and Adair family circle. The Lord is my Shepherd.
