Swail (Portaferry) Died 12th August 2020. Dessie, dearly beloved husband of the late Marina, devoted father of Deborah and the late Bernard, father-in-law of John and much loved granda of Leanda, Ashlene and Andrew.
In line with current guidance the family home will be private.
Dessie’s cortege will leave John Smith Funeral Home, Portaferry on Saturday at 11am via High Street, The Square, Church Street , Ann Street, High Street, Ferry Street, Shore Road, Cook Street and on to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial in adjoining graveyard. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Will be sadly missed by all his loving family and extended family circle.

Isobel Kelly (Portaferry)

Kelly (Portaferry) Died 12th August 2020, peacefully at Barrhall Residential Home. Isobel, dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas, devoted mother of Marian, dear mother-in-law of Paul and much loved Granny of Eimhear and Erne.
In line with current guidance the family home will be private. Isobel’s cortege will leave from 28 Bar Hall Road, Portaferry on Friday at 10.30am via Shore Road and Cook Street to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard. Fielding (Portaferry) Died 1st August 2020. Simon dearly beloved partner of Peter, much loved father of Holly and Sam, devoted son of Peter and Pamela, and dearly loved brother of Jo and Amy.
In accordance with current guidelines the house and funeral will be private and restricted to a small family gathering. Simon’s funeral cortege will leave John Smith’s Funeral home on Wednesday 12th August at 2.30pm travelling via High Street, The Square, Church Street and continuing on its way to Roselawn Crematorium.
Donations in memory of Simon can be made to Cancer Research or Assisi c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street, Portaferry, Newtownards, BT22 1QU.
Always remembered by all his loving family and family circle. Simon will be missed.

Bell, (Kircubbin) Died 7th August 2020, peacefully at his home. John Joseph (Sean), dearly loved husband of Sadie, loving and devoted father of Maureen, Shauna, Fiona, Iain, Amanda, Stephanie and the late Elizabeth, dear father-in-law of Keith, Kieran, Kate and Steve and much loved granda and great-granda. In line with current guidance the home is strictly private. For those wishing to pay their respects while observing social distancing guidance, Sean’s remains will leave his home, Cooks Cove, Kircubbin on Sunday 9th August at 11am to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycran for Funeral Service at 11.30am in the Church grounds, followed by private burial restricted to immediate family only. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving family, sister Gemma, brother Aidan and extended family circle.

Muriel, dearly loved wife of Joe, devoted mother of Claire, dear sister of Robert, Violet, William, Lorna, Arthur, Lawrence, Brian, Ian, Deborah and the late Hector and Caroline and a dear sister-in-law and aunt. For anyone wishing to pay their respects the funeral cortege will leave John Smith’s Funeral Home, Portaferry at 11.30am on Saturday 8th August, passing through Kircubbin via Boyd Avenue, Church Avenue and Shore Road at approx. 11.45am  on route to Roselawn Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Will be sadly missed by all her loving family and family circle.

CRAWFORD,  (Kircubbin) Died 4th August 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.  Daniel Joseph (Josie), beloved husband of the late Ann-Marie, dearly loved father of Ursula, Agnes, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Paula, Sarah, Breige, Denis and Suzanne, adored father-in-law of Jon, Ciara, Allan, John, Joe, Peter, Paul, Geraldine and Tomás,  much loved Grandfather of Niamh, Connor, Abigail, Sean, Clodagh, Rose, Maria, Oscar, Anna, Lorcán, Isabelle, Dara, Grace, Cara, Alice, Meabh, Aoife , Patrick, Sorchá, Finnian and Eva-Marie, loving brother uncle and cousin.  For those wishing to pay their respects while observing social distancing guidance, Josie’s remains will leave John Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday 5th August at 10:15am to St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycran via Lisbane Road, for Funeral Service at 11am in the Chapel Car park, followed by private burial restricted to immediate family only.   Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in thee.  Deeply regretted and will be lovingly remembered by his family and extended family circle.
