Gilmore, George. (Marlfield, Portaferry). Died 24th March 2020, peacefully at hospital. Dearly loved husband of Mona and loving and devoted father of Alison. No flowers please, donations if desired made payable to Marie Curie Cancer Care, c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street, Portaferry BT2 1QU.  On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy. Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by his family and the Gilmore and Tweedie Family circle. In light of the Covid19 virus, house will be strictly private and in accordance with the Diocesan guidance, the Requiem Mass will be restricted to immediate family only. Non-attendance at the Mass and wake saddens the family but will not cause offence.

Patsy Magee (Portaferry)

Magee (Portaferry) Died 17th March 2020, peacefully at his home. Patsy dearly loved son of the late Mary Anne and Pat John Magee, dear brother of George and the late Bob, Hugh and James.

Requiem Mass on Friday 20th March at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

St. Patrick pray for him. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing brother George and all his nephews, nieces and family circle. and will be sadly missed by his loving family and extended family circle.

Moreland (Portaferry) Died 17th March 2020. Margaret Mary (Rita) beloved wife of the late Vincent devoted mother of Philip, Kevin, Angela and Eileen and dearly loved granny of Craig, Ryan, Callum, Amelia-Rose, Danielle, Christopher, Michael, Mark, Aron, Oisin and Cara and great-granny of Eva.

Rita’s remains will be reposing in her son Philip’s home 19 Ashmount Park, Portaferry until her removal on Friday 20th March at 1.30pm to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all her loving family.

In light of the Covid19 virus and in accordance with the Diocesan guidance the Requiem Mass will be restricted to family and close friends only. Non-attendance at the wake and mass will not cause offence.

Brigid, devoted sister of Kathleen, Mary, Teresa, Clare, Esther, Kieran, Denise, Paddy and the late Margaret, a dear sister-in-law and much loved Aunt and Great-Aunt. Brigid’s remains will be reposing in John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry on Wednesday from 4pm – 9pm and Thursday from 11am – 9pm. Funeral will leave the Funeral Home on Friday at 10.30am to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Ballycranbeg for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in adjoining cemetery.
