Savage, ( Kircubbin) Died 17th July 2020. Rachel, beloved wife of the late John, dearly loved mother of Patsy, Rachel, Andy and Mandy, dear mother-in-law of Bernadette and Bertie, much loved grandmother of Siobhan, Patricia, Carmel, Andrea, John, Andrew, Stephen, Kevin and Gavin a dear great-grandmother and loving sister. RIP.

In accordance with current guidelines the house and funeral will be private and restricted to a small family gathering.  For those wishing to pay their respects while observing social distancing guidance, Rachel’s remains will leave John Smith’s Funeral Home, Portaferry on Sunday at 11am to St Joseph’s Church, Ballycran via Gransha Road and Blackstaff Road.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.  Deeply regretted and will be lovingly remembered by her family and extended family circle.

Nana Coffey (Cloughey)

Coffey, Nana (Cloughey). Died 13th July 2020 peacefully, surrounded by all her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of the late George Coffey, loving and devoted mother of Alan, Brian, Jim, Shirley, Leslie, Stephen, Ivan, Dawn, David and Gary, dear mother-in-law of Lynn, Catherine, Joyce, Paddy and Anne, loving Nana to Emma, Matthew, Lorraine, Lesley-Anne, Caroline, Jonathan, James, Devoy, Sarah, Leslie, Lynn, Amanda, Robert, Ali, Jamie, Julie-Anne, Andrew, Daniel, Darren, Rachel, Joshua and the late David, a much loved great Nana Coffey, dear sister to Neil and the late Marjorie, Moira and Ivan and dear aunt to Victoria. In line with current guidelines, the family home, funeral and burial will be private. The funeral cortege will pass from Quarter Road on Thursday (16th July) at 12.30pm to the family burial ground via Main Road, Cloughey.  Family flowers only donations if desired made payable to Chest, Heart & Stroke N.I. c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street, Portaferry. Stewart (Newtownards) Died 28th June 2020, peacefully at Hospital. Andrew devoted husband of Margaret Pearl, much loved father of Martyn and Neville. Dear father-in-law of Sybil and Granda of Rachel, Jack, Rebecca, Harry and Kirsty.

Andrew’s funeral cortege will begin from his home, 9 Ballyblack Road, on Tuesday 30th June at 2.30pm via Ballyblack East and Dunover Road on its way to the family burial ground in Whitechurch cemetery Ballywalter.

Terence Victor (Terry) devoted husband of Caroline, much loved father of Neil and Siobhan, dear father-in-law of Katie and Neil and loving grandfather of Thomas. Mary Cecelia (Marcella) dearly beloved daughter of the late Mary and William Savage, loving sister of Elizabeth and Pauline and dear sister-in-law of the late Gerry R.I.P.  Marcella’s cortege will pass her late residence at High Street, Portaferry on Sunday at 9am. continuing via The Square, Church Street, Anne Street and Ballyphilip Road, on the journey to St Patricks Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 9.30am. which can be viewed only by webcam on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-ballyphilip   In accordance with guidelines, the family home and funeral will be strictly private.  Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.  Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by all family at home and in Sligo and Kerry.

Harold, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth, devoted father of Mairead, Joanne, Linda and the late Brian, dear father-in-law of Seamus, John and Adrian and much loved granda of Declan, Grainne, Cara, Jana, Eve and Daniel. His remains will be reposing at his home, 10 The Gables Portaferry, until his removal on Saturday (13th) at 10.30am to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip, via High Street, The Square, Church Street, Anne Street and Ballyphilip Road.  Requiem Mass at 11am. viewable on the following link https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-ballyphilip followed by interment in adjoining graveyard.
