Tomelty. (Portaferry) Died 28th January 2019, peacefully at Nursing Home. Elizabeth (Betty), dearly loved daughter of the late James and Mary Catherine Tomelty and dear sister of the late Joseph, Kathleen, James, Eugene, Tommy and Peter. RIP.

Betty’s remains will repose in John Smith’s Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry from 3pm today (Monday) until her removal tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5.30pm to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip, Portaferry. Requiem Mass at 11am on Wednesday. Interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Lovingly remembered by all her family circle.

Byers. (Portaferry) Died 21st January 2019, peacefully at his home. James, dearly loved husband of Margaret, loving father of John and Mark, dear father-in-law of Teresa and Jayne and much loved grandpa of Sharna, William and Jaycee.

His remains will leave his home 4 Links Drive, Portaferry on Wednesday at 10.30am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all this loving family.

James (Bo), devoted husband of Clare, loving father of Shauneen, Kevin, Orlaith, Garrett and Eimear, dear father-in-law of Aidan, Maura, John Paul, Sarah and Brendan, much loved grandad of Joe, Clara, Eoghan, Fergal, Ella and Rían and dear brother of Mary, Margaret, Patricia, John, Lee and the late Robbie Joe.
Bo’s remains will repose in his home 64 Ballygelagh Road, Kircubbin from Sunday 27th January at 10am until his removal on Tuesday (29th) at 11.30am to St Patrick’s Church, Ballygalget for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by interment in adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers with cheques made payable to Meningitis Research Foundation or CLIC Sargent c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street, Portaferry BT22 1QU. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by all his loving family. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Patricia will be reposing at John Smiths Funeral Home, 91a High Street, Portaferry from Monday (7th Jan.) at 2pm until 9pm and on Tuesday from 10am until 9pm and her funeral will leave on Wednesday at 10.30am to St Patrick’s Church, Ballygalget for Requiem Mass at 11am interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard.
