Toner (Portaferry) Died 1st March 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beth dearly beloved wife of the late Dan, loving and devoted mother of Eileen, Margaret, Vincent, Marian, Ursula, Paula, Tommy, Danny, Patricia, Andrew, Michael and the late Peter. R.I.P. A dear mother-in-law and much loved grandmother and great-grandmother.

Beth’s remains will repose in her daughter Paula’s home. House private. Funeral will leave on Wednesday (6th March) at 10.30am. to St Patrick’s Church, Ballygalget for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining graveyard.

Smyth (Portaferry) Died 28th February 2024, peacefully at hospital. Joyce beloved wife of the late Francis, devoted mother of Jackie, John and the late Joyce, dear mother-in-law of John, Debbie and Dave and cherished grandmother of Kirstie, Becky, Jessica, Lucy, Sarah, Marie, Steven, Rachel and Bethany, a much loved great-grandmother of all of her wonderful great-grandchildren and a dear friend of Andrea and Evelyn.

Joyce’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Friday 1st March from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral will leave the funeral home on Saturday 2nd March at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard.

Smith (Downpatrick) Died 22nd February 2024, suddenly but peacefully at his home. Gareth, dearly loved and cherished son of Brendan and Deirdre, much loved brother of Ciaran, dear brother-in-law of Marie, devoted uncle of Emily and Sofia and a dearly loved nephew, cousin and friend. 

Gareth’s remains will be reposing in his home 42c Saul Road, Downpatrick on Saturday and Sunday from 12noon – 8pm each day.  House private after 8pm please. 

The funeral cortege will leave his home on Monday 26th February at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in Struell Cemetery.
