Denvir (Portaferry) Died 6th January 2023, peacefully at his home, 7 Church View, Portaferry. Richard, beloved husband of the late Margaret, devoted father of Teresa, Paul, Amanda, and Michael, dear father-in-law of Shane, Maureen, John and Debbie, much loved grandfather of John, Carl, Shana, Daniel and Shea, dear brother-In-law of Peter and a loving uncle. Richard’s remains will be reposing in John Smiths Funeral Home on Friday (6th Dec.) 6.00pm – 8.00pm, Saturday 10.00am – 12.00noon, 2.00pm – 4.00pm and 6.00pm – 8.00pm and Sunday 10.00am – 1.00pm. Funeral will leave the funeral home on Monday 9th at 1.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm followed by burial in adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Air Ambulance N.I. c/o John Smith Funeral Directors, 91a High Street, Portaferry. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
